First the Obama campaign denied the seal on the left was modeled on the Presidential Seal. After they were universally ridiculed they dropped use of the "official" Obama Seal. Just one more "oops" in his gaffe riddled campagin.

As the various officials from the escort service who are going to testify against Elliott Spitzer are concluding their plea bargains with the prosecutors, Ashley Dupre (Kristen) made news by . . . going to the beach with her mother (shown on right above). There cannot be anything more humiliating than to remind the world that Spitzer threw away a promising career for the pleasure of paying $4300 for one night with Kristen (shown on left above).
Some people say that you should only make jokes where the object of the joke can laugh too. This is not that kind of joke. I am sure continuing to cover this lady (so to speak) is politically incorrect.

Why else would 75,000 people get together in Portland Oregon, except the people want to meet our new Messiah? To make sure enough people turned out to properly honor Barack the Democrats put on a free rock concert by the popular Decemberists band prior to arrival of the Obama.
For those who don't get the irony, the original Decembrists were members of a secret society that started a Russian revolt in 1825. The rock band of that name starts its concerts with the national anthem of the Soviet Union.
